Guess I cancelled last Saturday's ride too soon since the rain passed
earlier than the forcast I saw. No rain this Saturday, but a bit chilly,
hence a later start, @ 12:00. Forcast is for full sun so that should help.

This ride will replace my regular ride. There are 2 routes, long, 56 mi. & short, 29 mi. I plan on riding a version of the long ride, shown below, that is about 49 miles. It cuts out one section of their ride to avoid a nasty 10 to 14% grade hill that is almost a mile long. For more information, including their routes see:

Two rides this weekend.
Saturday will be normal ride provided it doesn't rain.
Sunday is a special ride for John Cannon's 60th birthday.[Presents not required] It will be in two loops of about 30 miles each, for about 60 miles, both starting and ending at East Side Cycles in East Nashville, at 5 points. The first loop goes south and past Radnor Lake, see map below. Second half will be out Shelby Bottoms and on the Greenway and will be determined, in both route and distance, by those that ride the second half. So come on out and see how well the old guy can ride!
